My Mother's Day Gift....

I finally got to have my Mother's Day gift. I got tickets to see one of my favorite bands RUSH (yes they are still together...yes they still make records...yes I am a fan)

The last time I saw Rush was November 1996. They were wonderful. But I am a little bias because I've seen them every two years or so since 1988.

Since 1997 when they come to town they have been playing at Superpages.com center.

So what is different from this tour and the one 14 years ago? Only this...We're all 14 years older.

They were AWESOME and like wine BETTER WITH AGE!

They did two new songs from their new album "That we are going to work on when ever we find the time"

They look like they are having a lot of fun but they always do when I see them.

Neil: when it started I told Adam "now you will know why I call him the drum god". He said after it was over "seeing him play is worth the money"

Geddy: still has the voice and those high notes

Alex: great solo before "Closer to the Heart" and tore it up on 'Working Man'
