Last Friday Katie went to school and Bubba and I went to the old office to see the girls and to get a Mammogram. ***WARNING B IS NOW GETTING ON HER SOAP BOX TO GIVE YOU A LECTURE*** October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I want to remind everyone if they are over 35 (not pregnant or trying to get pregnant) to go and get "the girls" squished. Yes I know it's something you would rather not do it's not something that is high on my list of "things to do" either but you know what it can save your life!

A-HA!!!
Nee Nee has a laptop and I stole it!!! Things are good here. Bubba and Katie got cubs shirts so we are prepaired for the playoffs!!! They had flooding at Grandma and Grandpa's house in the basement last week so they have had heaters and fans going on since Tuesday. The carpets finally got dry today so they are not gone (yeah).
Katie is having a blast here. We're going to the Zoo tomorrow.
Oh and before we left people asked Katie what we were going to do in IL. She told them "We're going to ride Zebras!!!" I have no idea where she got that.

We're here! Well we're at the halfway point, Emporia, Kansas. The hotel room is really nice and we made it here before 2. Time for a nap methinks. We hope to leave early early tomorrow and get to Coal Valley in good time.

Hats....
Yes I have an obsession with hats for my kids.....
I just got this one from Gymboree.
This one came in a set with two Chicago bears onsies, a binky, a wrist rattle and a hat. Got it at Kid to Kid (resale shop) for $4.99
The next five I got at The Children's Place (I LOVE THIS PLACE) at Grapevine Mills. They have the BEST sales!!! All five hats cost .49 Cents each. If they were all at regular price the cost would have been almost $30.00!!!
The last two hats are from Katie when she was his age. Fall is coming soon...October 11 is when we are going to do our Annual Halloween Pictures!!! Will have some of the usual stuff and some surpises!!!
