This picture was taken about 4 feet away from her. She didn't mind him taking the picture. This morning she started pecking at our back door about 7AM. It is obvious that no one under 4 feet tall knows that it is SATURDAY and we don't need to get up at 6:30 to get ready for work!
So it looks like she's going to be part of our family. She's on her own for food and she's not coming in when it gets cold. Adam has nicked named her "the giant turkey"
Poor Satine wants to get out and attack it. Connor could care less. Katie thinks that it's pretty cool that there is a "Peacock in our back yard Mommy!!!" Bubba Randal has no idea (and could care less). Adam says that "She is tresspassing on our property we did NOT adopt her!!!!" I'm just happy that it's not the foxes.

You had better hope the foxes don't come back or else you might have a less than pretty mess in your backyard one morning.
I imagine the bird is why we haven't seen the foxes in a while. It's bigger than they are. Why risk death by beak?
