Ah...Texas Weather

Okay so past three days have been hot! In the 75-80 degree range. Tuesday I was turning on the air conditioning because it was warm in the house.

This morning on the other hand it's 30 freaking degrees and there is freezing rain. Everyone said that it would get bad so I went out and got food incase we were unable to go anywhere. Adam checked with work and promised me that he would call when he got there and leave if the HEB school district was closing early. The news people have been talking about the weather over and over again since 4 or 4:30 am. Now to be in competition because "They were there!!" there has been no regular programing.

I'm sorry maybe it's because I lived up north for half of my life...but lets get over it. Yes it is cold. Yes there is freezing rain and maybe snow. Yes the roads will be bad but IF YOU DRIVE SAFE you won't have a problem. Yes it will be SUNNY and 49 DEGREES TOMORROW lets MOVE ON!!! Get your news people who are outside describing the freezing rain hitting their face "hard like little needles" inside the van, give them some hot chocolate, tell everyone NOT to go outside and check the ticker to see if your kids school is closed and get back to Price is right, All my Children, Y&R and all the other stuff!!!

In other news...The Eakins Christmas tree is up. We got it out of the box lastnight while watching "Charlie Brown Christmas". It's a prelit tree and we'll decorate it tonight...maybe. The tree is up which (for me) is a big deal! Posted by Picasa
