We ran away

July 22, 2003 Adam and I re-met again with the help of Lisa Richards (Thank you Lisa!). We met at Grapevine Mills mall, had dinner at Corner bakery and saw a movie. We met the first time in 1997 when my Mom started working at the Grapevine Library part time. She always said that if Adam was just a little bit older she would of set us up. The last time Adam and I saw each other was in 1999.

So four years later I was talking to Lisa and she asked if I was seeing anyone. I (of course) started laughing. She told me all about this "Adam" guy and said that her sister had known him all of his life. I told her to go ahead and give him my phone number. On July 20th Lisa called me to give me Adam's number. "After you talk to him call me! And he seemed really excited to hear from you". So I waited until July 21. Made a date for July 22.

Now I didn't realize that this was the same Adam from the library. It had been four years. I have slept since then. A lot has happened since then and we have both changed. It wasn't until we were coming back from a friends house in Little Elm and he mentioned working for the city (of Grapevine) that I realized that it was him.

So on July 22, 2006 we dropped the boogerbear off at Grandma's (yes I will admit it...I cried when I left her there)then we went to Grapevine Mills mall to see the 10:35AM showing of Clerks 2. The movie was good. Not for the faint of heart (or ears). I know I was one of the few women to be at this showing (and laughing). After that we went to Frisco to Stonebriar Mall to eat at Dave and Busters. Then we went to Ben and Jerry's over in Plano. Then it was to the Embassy Suites in Irving (because the one in Grapevine wanted almost $300.00 for the night). Got back at 11:30 to eat lunch and take the boogerbear home.
