We're fine here. We're all fine here...right...now....How are you?

 

This happened yesterday. Grapevine just got a lot of rain and storms.  Katie's school was in "Duck and Cover" mode  for about an hour.  Adam's work was also in "Duck and Cover" mode and they had baseball size hail in Euless (No damage to the car).  Bubbaman thought it was fun hiding the storm in the closet.  By the time I had to pick up Katie everything was back to the Eakins' regular scheduled Tuesday.

Will Never Forget

Dear Mom,

Today your Granddaughter starts her first day of Kindergarten.

I did okay until we were almost to her new room and she said "I love you Mom" I had to keep on walking and hold back the tears. I made it to the van and cried.

I then took Bubbaman out to get Starbucks and got your sign that I needed to hear.
